Photo Walk to Stak’ov Kamik Peak

On 2 November 2025, I went on a short photo walk to Stak’ov Kamik Peak. The peak is part of the Greben Mountain, near the village of Vrabcha, in Tran, Pernik Province. The hike begins at the village and takes about 40 minutes. The trail is well-marked, so it’s easy to follow even for beginners.

The path climbs gently through mixed forest. Soon, the trees open up and reveal wide views toward the mountain ridges. The air is clean and quiet. Birds can be heard, and the light filters softly through the leaves. It’s an ideal walk for anyone who enjoys peace and nature.

As I moved higher, the afternoon sun turned golden. The autumn colors became warmer, and every step offered a new frame to capture. Stak’ov Kamik Peak is not very high, yet the view from the top is impressive. You can see layers of hills stretching far into western Bulgaria and even into Serbia.

Therefore, the hike feels rewarding despite its short length. The calmness at the summit invites you to slow down, take photos, and simply breathe.

Below are five photos from that afternoon — moments of light, texture, and stillness that reflect the gentle beauty of this mountain.

Whether you’re into hiking, photography, or simply love discovering quiet corners of Bulgaria, this short trail to Stak’ov Kamik Peak is absolutely worth the visit. It’s proof that even a small mountain can offer grand inspiration.
