How I work

How I work with clients

Clear communication, realistic timelines, and no unnecessary process. We talk like people, agree what “done” means, and protect the craft in between.

Process should reduce anxiety, not create it

Bloated workflows and vague ownership slow projects more than any missing plugin. I keep the path short: discover, decide, make, review, deliver — with written agreements on scope and feedback rounds.

What I provide

  • Written brief and scope before major work begins
  • Scheduled check-ins instead of endless chat noise
  • Finite feedback rounds so decisions stick
  • Handoff packages other people can use
  • Honest pushback when a request would hurt the work

Who it is for

  • Clients who want a direct design partner, not a black-box agency
  • Teams that can make decisions and reply within agreed windows
  • Projects where quality matters more than theatrical process

How the process works

  1. Talk

A short conversation or message about goals, constraints, and fit. If we are not a match, I say so.

  2. Agree

Scope, timeline, fee structure, and what you will provide. No silent assumptions.

  3. Make

Focused work time with updates at milestones — not daily noise for its own sake.

  4. Deliver

Files, notes, and a clear close. Ongoing support only when we agree it separately.

Why work with me

I have sat on both sides of studio and product work. Respect for time — yours and mine — is non-negotiable. Clarity is a feature.

Questions

  • With a message describing the project, timing, and budget range if you have one. I reply with questions or a call suggestion.

  • Possible for the right rhythm. We define hours, response times, and what is in or out of the retainer.

  • Yes — collaboration inquiries are welcome when roles are clear.
