Creative photography with a documentary eye

I photograph people, places, and working days as they are — then edit for clarity, rhythm, and a story that holds together.

When photographs need to say something specific

Generic stock and one-off snapshots rarely carry a brand, a place, or a project. You need images that feel intentional: sequences that can live on a site, in print, or in a campaign without looking interchangeable.

What I provide

  • Documentary and street photography series
  • Portrait and on-location portrait sessions
  • Event and workshop coverage when the brief is visual storytelling
  • Editing, sequencing, and delivery for web or print
  • Guidance on how images sit with typography and layout

Who it is for

  • Studios and brands that need photography with a point of view
  • Editors, publishers, and cultural projects
  • Individuals commissioning a focused personal or family series
  • Teams building a site or campaign that must feel photographed, not stocked

How the process works

  1. Brief

What must the images do — document, persuade, archive, or open a story? Constraints matter: place, access, timeline, deliverables.

  2. Shoot

I work on location with attention to light, gesture, and sequence — not just single “hero” frames.

  3. Edit

A tight selection, consistent grade, and order that reads as a narrative rather than a dump of files.

  4. Handoff

Files sized for their use, with naming and notes so you can publish or print without guesswork.

Why work with me

Photography is part of how I think about design. I treat a series like an editorial object: pacing, contrast, and what to leave out. That carries into brand and web work when images are the spine of the project.

Questions

  • Documentary and street series, on-location portraits, and projects where photography supports a brand or publication. Pure product catalog shoots are usually a poor fit.

  • Yes. Many projects start with images and then move into identity, print, or UI — or the other way around.

  • Both are possible. Most commissions include a curated set, consistent processing, and formats agreed in the brief.

  • Sofia, Bulgaria. I shoot locally and travel when the brief and logistics make sense.
